Senior Mobile Solutions Engineer, Vietnam

Engineering

Remote

Hanoi or Remote

Full Time

At Metica, we let game studios focus on making great games – while we take care of growing them. We're an AI-native growth partner for mobile games studios, unifying user acquisition and in-game monetisation so games grow without studios having to build that expertise in-house.

We're built by founders and an early team on their third venture together (previously built and exited to King and Apple), backed by Play Ventures, 13books Capital and Firstminute Capital. We're already working with some of the biggest names in mobile gaming, and are entering our scaling phase – which means real ownership for whoever joins us next.

[short bio]

The Role

You will be the technical backbone of our client relationships worldwide, with Vietnam as a key market. Game studios integrating the Metica SDK will rely on you to get them live smoothly, and when something doesn't look right – a metric gap, an SDK crash, unexpected mediation behavior – you'll be the one who digs in, reproduces the issue, and drives it to resolution alongside our engineering and analytics teams.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable reading a stack trace, digging through ad performance data, and explaining a technical root cause to a game studio's monetization lead – in Vietnamese or English.

Location is Hanoi or remote.

You Will

  • Guide client studios through Metica SDK integration end-to-end across Unity, native iOS, and native Android, from kickoff to tech test sign-off and go-live

  • Debug and investigate technical issues: SDK crashes, initialization failures, mediation adapter conflicts, data discrepancies between Metica and mediation platform dashboards

  • Reproduce client-reported issues in test environments, isolate root causes, and write clear technical findings for engineering escalation

  • Analyze ad performance data to validate integrations and investigate revenue or performance anomalies

  • Own technical communication with clients around the world – integration calls, chat-based support, documentation – and serve as the local technical bridge for our Vietnamese studios in particular

  • Contribute to internal tooling, runbooks, and integration documentation to make every future integration faster

  • Support pre-sales technical evaluations and feasibility assessments for prospective clients, with a particular focus on the Vietnamese market

You Need

Must have:

  • 5+ years in mobile development, SDK support, or solutions/integration engineering

  • Hands-on experience with Unity (C#), native iOS (Swift/Objective-C), and native Android (Kotlin/Java)

  • Solid understanding of the mobile game development lifecycle and how third-party SDKs fit into a game build

  • Working knowledge of ad monetization: ad mediation platforms, waterfalls, in-app bidding, floor prices, and key performance metrics

  • Strong debugging skills: comfortable with device logs, crash reports, and network inspection

  • Native Vietnamese speaker with fluent written and spoken English

  • Self-directed and reliable in a fully remote setup, working with a distributed international team

  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule that frequently includes early-evening work (Vietnam time) to overlap with clients and colleagues in other time zones — typically not late-night

Nice to have:

  • Data literacy: able to understand data structures and follow the logic of performance data well enough to support investigations

  • Experience at an ad network, mediation platform, or game studio monetization team

  • Experience running or analyzing ad monetization experiments (e.g., waterfall setups, floor price testing, network comparisons) and interpreting their impact on revenue metrics

  • Experience with ticketing and project management tools and direct client communication channels
